The Stables, Cromarty

Arts centre just outside the Black Isle village of Cromarty made available at reduced rates to artists looking for inspiration in the surrounding countryside.
This imposing Georgian building in a tranquil setting half a mile up the hill towards the top of the South Sutor was converted in 1995 to accommodate a gallery, ground floor artists’ studios, smaller workshop rooms, a darkroom, and a glass studio workshop.
The Stables and the Cromarty Arts Trust's other premises, Ardyne, provide a venue for exhibitions and performances for the area.
