by Gillian HarveyHarry Potter fans will find a wicked wizard-themed event at Calderglen Country Park this October Week.
The park is holding a seasonal treasure hunt in the sprawling gardens and conservatory, based on the tales of the young wizard.
Perfect for those aged eight to 12 – or younger children if accompanied by an adult – the kids will be armed with just a map and their knowledge as they set out on the exciting adventure.
The treasure map used is based on an application form to get into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and adventurers who take part will need to undergo theory tests and find various clues hidden in different nooks and crannies to complete the hunt.
They’ll love working on the puzzles and navigating their way through the park, with famous Harry Potter locations such as Diagon Alley being recreated for the event.
And to top it off, the overall winner of the event will win a Harry Potter themed prize!
It’s sure to be a bewitching day.
The Seasonal Treasure Hunt is being held at Calderglen Country Park from October 11-19.
