by Gillian HarveyThe October Week is just around the corner and its often time of year when parents start tearing their hair out, looking for things to keep their kids entertained.
But theres no need to panic the Zest Holiday Programme has a huge range of activities lined up to suit five to 18-year-olds.
Adventurous types will love the various outdoor activities, such as the Endangered Wildlife Tour with the RSPB, or the kayaking and open sailing sessions.
And nature enthusiasts will be enthralled by the various events at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, such as Wee Beasties under the microscope, Buzzing Around, and Live Megabeasts from Zoo Lab.
Those who have an interest in history might enjoy the Tram Man Tour at the Museum of Transport, and anyone who is into arts and crafts is sure to find something to suit them at the Burrell Collection, where they can create collages and touch up on their painting skills.
There are also lots of workshops and one-off classes being held in subjects including karate, street dance, cookery and cheerleading, as well as football coaching, basketball camp and crash courses in swimming lessons.
So dont despair theres something fun to suit those all ages and tastes during the October Week this year.
