what?[Sat 11.30am-5.30pm, Sun Noon-5.30pm] The fun-filled two day event returns with a range of activities and entertainment, including performances from Kangaroo Gymnastic Display Team, music from acts including The Drifters and the Soul Kings, stalls displaying and selling foods from around the world and a children's zone with fairground rides and attractions.

by Gillian HarveyOne of the biggest events in Glasgows calendar The Glasgow Show is back with another jam-packed line-up of events.
Always a crowd pleaser, usually drawing in tens of thousands, the two-day extravaganza crams in a massive array of things for the young and young-at-heart to enjoy.
Check out the daredevil sporting acts thatll have you on the edge of your seat, performances from well-know acts, cooking demonstrations from top ethnic chefs, and market stalls selling the best arts and crafts goods, gardening accessories, and unique gifts from traders from across the West of Scotland.
The Golden Lions widely regarded as one of the top parachute display teams in the world will perform breathtaking canopy formations and swoop landings.
And motorcycle display team, The Flying Gunners, will show off precision riding, reaching speeds of up to 80-90 mph. The 20-man team will also perform individual balancing, daring multi-car jumps, and the world-famous pyramid.
If that isnt up your street, why not relax and take in some of the music from The Drifters, wholl perform some of their most popular hits such as Saturday Night at the Movies and Money Honey.
Andrew Muir, the Singing Plumber who recently made it to the finals of ITV show Britains Got Talent will also be performing at the event, as will The Soul Kings, Jim McMail who sings all the old rat pack classics - and an Elvis impersonator, who will add some real glamour to the event!
Theres also the Spice on the Green section, which includes food tasting of worldwide delicacies and cooking demonstrations including cook-offs between Scottish politicians and celebrities as well as exhibitions and demonstrations of wildlife and floristry.
The kids wont be left out either the Childrens Zone has an entire fairground dedicated to the little ones, and Titan the Robot is back by popular demand.
As for the teenagers, they can witness the wild and radical half-pipe action of Team Extreme in the Youth Zone.
Or if they fancy getting involved in the action themselves they can scale the dizzy heights of the climbing wall and brush up on football skills with professional coaches.
The Glasgow Show is at Glasgow Green on July 26 and 27.
