A new stage show based on timeless children’s book The Tiger Who Came To Tea is set for a run the King’s Theatre in Glasgow - just in time for the school holidays next week.

Published in 1968, Judith Kerr’s charming book tells the story of a little girl called Sophie and her mother, who are joined for tea by an extremely hungry, but impeccably polite tiger.

Suitable for children aged three and up, The Tiger Who Came to Tea is the latest show from David Wood, renowned for his stage adaptations of children’s classics like Fantastic Mr Fox, The Gingerbread Man, and Meg and Mog.

Featuring songs, laughs and plenty of audience participation, teatime has never been so much fun!

The Tiger Who Came To Tea is at the King’s Theatre in Glasgow from Thursday October 9 to Saturday October 11. The show returns for a longer stint at Edinburgh’s Playhouse in December.
