Gala performance with guest artists from Merce Cunningham Dance

The East Lothian-based Curve Foundation Dance Company this month presents a gala performance to mark 330 years since the birth of Antonio Vivaldi.
A programme of four dances will be set to the composers most famous work, The Four Seasons, performed by the Edinburgh Quartet and friends.
Artistic director Ross Cooper has collaborated with dancers from all over the world, and the resulting performance features guest artists from Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Scottish Ballet and Phoenix Dance Theatre.
Filip Van Huffel of Belgian/British dance company Retina evokes Spring, Henry Oguikes Violet will be performed to Summer, Autumn will be Free Falling by Royal Ballet star Jonathan Watkins and Rui Graca of the National Ballet of Portugal has choreographed Winter.
