by Michael PringleFor all aspiring young actors, Scottish Youth Theatre will be running a week-long course during April. At the end of an intensive week working in a professional environment, performers aged eight to 16 will stage a production at the Old Sheriff Court building in Glasgow.
One Week Musical will guide the youngsters through all aspects of producing a professional show. At the end of a week learning the trade secrets it will present them the opportunity to play a vital role in the staged event.
Scottish Youth Theatre has been working for over thirty years running theatre courses and workshops as well as other initiatives including young actor and director schemes.
If you think your child may have what it takes to shine in a musical production, then this course could be the ideal springboard for a career in showbusiness. No previous drama experience is required.
One Week Musical runs from April 7 to 12 at Scottish Youth Theatre, Brunswick Street, Glasgow.
