Jimmy Carr: Repeat Offender

what?
Jimmy Carr is one of the biggest faces in comedy. Literally- he's got one of the biggest faces. Fresh from presenting the 5th series of 8 Out of 10 Cats, he's back with a brand new live show.

Deadpan and dapper

by Fergus Grierson

Pokerfaced funnyman Jimmy Carr takes time out from a busy TV schedule this spring to go back to his stand-up roots, beginning a series of more than 70 set across the length an breadth UK over the next few months.

The 8 Out Of 10 Cats star plays three Scottish shows this weekend – with a Friday appearance at Dundee’s Caird Hall, before two nights at the Clyde Auditorium on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Demand for tickets is certain to be high – fortunately the caustic comic returns to Scotland in June for appearances in Aberdeen, Inverness, and Perth, as well as for an extra date at the Clyde Auditorium next month.

Nominated for the Perrier Award in 2002, and a British Comedy Award winner in 2006, the 35-year-old is best known for his deadpan style and outrageous one-liners. New show Repeat Offender was premiered at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, and is billed as being for people without a moral compass. Don’t say you haven’t been warned!

Jimmy Carr appears at Dundee’s Caird Hall on Friday March 21, and Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on Saturday March 22 and Sunday March 23.
