Milo Boyd, a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, gets his dream job when he is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly. He thinks all that's ahead is an easy payday, but when Nicole gives him the slip so she can chase a lead on a murder cover-up, Milo realises that nothing ever goes simply with him and Nicole. The exes continually one-up each other -- until they find themselves on the run for their lives. They thought their promise to love, honour and obey was tough -- staying alive is going to be a whole lot tougher.

Alison Rowat's Review
After all the nudge nudges and the wink winks, the movie arrives. And its ... not terrible, just not terribly good either.
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler play a hot shot reporter (her) and a bounty hunter who used to be married. Now shes skipped bail and he needs to bring her in. Only its more complicated, with irate bookies after him, bad guys after her, and the whole shooting match having to stop so Gerard can get his abs out for the fans.
As a crime mystery, The Bounty Hunter makes The Rockford Files look like The Wire. As a rom-com, its desperately short on the com. But Butler and Aniston make an attractive if unlikely combo in a kind of golden retriever/West Highland terrier kind of way, and if the chemistry between them is more SVQ than PhD, at least its there.
