Jack Sadelstein is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill. Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.

What is it with Adam Sandler? There you are, watching his latest offering, in this case a comedy about identical twins, both played by himself, and thinking this isn’t so bad. The guy is funny, if slightly scary, and he can set up a story.
Then it happens, a Sandler gross out moment that turns you off the entire film. In this case it’s a diarrhoea scene, closely followed by Al Pacino’s cameo as a shouty actor on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
After more than an hour in Sadler’s increasingly unfunny company you’ll be feeling likewise.
